mine is windows 98

i had launched new e-kalappai

i have changed i.e view as unicode utf8

i have successfully changed usp10.* file with new one downloaded from ezhilnila web site.

i have also tried to change the internet options font as aavarangal/theeniuni

now i can only see other members' posts in tamil.

but what i type or post does not seem to be tamil. kindly help me

விண்டோஸ் 98-ல் இருந்து கொண்டு மற்றவர்களின் யூனிகோட் பதிப்புகளை படிக்க முடிகிறதல்லவா? அதுவே உங்களுக்கு 90% வெற்றி. இனி இருக்கும் 10% எப்படி யூனிகோடில் தமிழில் எழுதுவது என்பதைப் பற்றித் தான்.

Ledit / OpenOffice இருந்தால் தான் யூனிகோடில் எழுத முடியும். அல்லது, திஸ்கியில் உங்கள் கணணியில் தட்டச்சு செய்து, கீழே உள்ள கன்வர்ட்டர் மூலம் பதிப்பதே சிறந்தது.

நீங்கள் திஸ்கியில் பதித்ததை நான் அங்கே Cut & Paste செய்து மாற்றினேன். எனக்கு எந்த பிரச்சனையும் Status Bar-ல் வரவில்லையே? இது உங்கள் Browser பிரச்சனையாக இருக்கலாம்!
என்ன Browser? என்ன Version ? என்று கூறவும். IE 6 இருந்தால் நல்லது.

ஒரு வேளை நான் வேலை செய்து கொண்டிருந்த நேரத்தில் நீங்கள் முயற்சித்திருக்கலாம். மீண்டும் ஒருமுறை ஓரிரு வார்த்தை தட்டச்சு செய்து முயற்சியுங்கள்.

முரசு அஞ்சல் மூலம், நமது மன்றத்து யூனிகோட் கன்வர்டரில் சோதனை.
OS: விண்டோஸ் 98, Browser: IE6.0.280

இது எகலப்பை மூலம் அதே கணணியில் தட்டச்சு செய்கிறேன்.

தெரிகிறதா?

நானும் விண் 98க்கு சென்று பதிவு செய்ய முயன்றேன்,
ஒன்றும் கஷ்டமிருப்பதாக தெரியவில்லை,

நான் என்ன செய்தேன் என கூறுகிறேன் புதியதாக முயல்பவர்கள் செய்து பாருங்கள்.

1-விண் எக்ஸ்ப்லொரர்- வியூ-என்கோடிங்-யூடிஎப் 8 (நான் யூடிஎப்10 ஆக கூட மாற்ற வில்லை)
2- முரசு அஞ்சலை இயக்கினேன்
3- இகலப்பையை இயக்கினேன்
4- என்னல் காமலொக எழுத்துக்களை படிக்க முடிந்தது

பதிவும் செய்ய முடிந்தது (கீழ்கண்டவற்றை செய்தேன்)

தளத்தின் கீழேயுள்ள யுனிகோடு கன்வெர்டரில் சாதாரணமாக எழுதுவது போல alt+2 அழுத்தி இடப்பக்கத்திலுள்ள பாக்ஸில் எழுதி பின் நடுவில் இருக்கும் எங்கோடிங் வட்டத்தை அழுத்தி அது யுனிகோடு ஆக மாறி வலதுபுறமுல்ல பாக்ஸில் வந்தது, அதை காபி செய்து மெஸேஜ் கட்டத்தில் பேஸ்ட் செய்து பதிவிக்க செய்தேன்,

நன்றாகதான் வேலை செய்கிறது

Detailed Instructions about using UNICODE in Windows 98.

Here are the things you have to do if you have Windows 98 to read the new UNICODE site.
1) Go to Start >> Run

2) Type Cmd; Enter

3) Now type the following

C: <Enter>

CD\ <Enter>

CD WINDOWS <Enter>

CD SYSTEM <Enter>

REN USP10.DLL USP10CPY.DLL

4) Now Click Here.

Get the USP10.DLL from this site and save it to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

5) Open Internet Explorer

6) Click View from the menu and then Encoding then Select Unicode (UTF-8)

Now your Computer is all set to read the new UNICODE site.




In order to write in UNICODE Tamil do this.

Go to the bottom of the kamalogam page you are visiting. There you see 2 boxes with a heading 'UNICODE CONVERTER'.

I am assuming you have e-kalappai 2.0 at this point. If not get it. Now type Alt + 3.

In the TYPE or PASTE here Box start typing whatever U want. This will show up in TSCII Tamil.
(Basically start typing in TSCII as U used to. May be use MUrasu or whatever U used before for tamil typing)

Once typing is done Click on the TSCII Button in the middle. U see the same Tamil text appear at the 'Converted Text Here' Box. This now means your 'TSCII Tamil' is converted to 'UNICODE Tamil'.

Now Click the Copy button to copy it. You are good to go. Start posting in Kamalogam in UNICODE.

யுனிகோட் கன்வர்ட்டரில் உள்ள இடது புற பாக்ஸில் நீங்கள் தங்கிலீஷிலேயே டைப் செய்து என்கோடிங்கில் உள்ள ரோமனைஸ்டு என்பதை கிளிக் செய்தீர்கள் என்றால் வலது புறத்தில் அழகாக யுனிகோட் மாற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டு வரும், அதை நீங்கள் அப்படியே காப்பி செய்து போஸ்ட் பண்ணுங்கள்.

Type in the left box in Thanglish

Click on Romanized in the Encoding

You will see in the Right box like


என்ன நண்பரே நல்லா இருக்கீங்களா?

Now copy and paste and then post. Hope this is very simple.
